How Do I Become a Member of Rotary?

Individuals looking to join Rotary Club of Accra – Ring Road Central must be sponsored or proposed for membership into the club. Often, a person being considered for membership is invited by a club member, or sponsor, to attend club meetings to learn more about Rotary. Once your sponsor considers you ready for membership they will submit your name to the club’s membership committee.

What Are the Responsibilities of Membership?

As a member of the Rotary Club of Accra – Ring Road Central, you are expected to attend weekly club meetings. You must pay annual dues to the club, the Rotary district, and Rotary International, and you are expected to participate in the club and/or Rotary international activities or projects. The club encourages members to aspire to club leadership or committee roles.

What is the Minimum Age to be a Rotary member of Rotary Ring Road Central?

There is no minimum age to join Rotary Club of Accra – Ring Road Central. You may be invited to join at any age after you become established in a career and have the time and financial resources to meet all club's membership requirements. If you’re interested in joining our Rotary club, ask our membership Director about the time and financial commitments necessary to fulfil membership requirements and consider whether you can make those commitments.
